FUNGIPEDIA IS AN EXCELLENT TOOL FOR THE STUDY OF FUNGI AND MUSHROOMS, PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THE AMBIOLOGIST FOR THE CORRECT IDENTIFICATION OF THE DIFFERENT SPECIES.

The "lite" version includes 500 SPECIES and more than 2000 PHOTOGRAPHS that will increase as the application is updated.

This mushroom app allows you to create your own PRIVATE database with GEORREFERENCED seals in your phone, since the application will allow you to save, by means of your mobile's GPS, the location of the setals of your interest, grouping them by ZONES. This advanced GEORREFERENCE system not only allows you to save the location, it also allows you to add photos of the setal and includes a guidance system that will take you directly to the place the next time you visit the area.

The application allows you to assign the setales that you save to the species of the MUSHROOM CATALOG, however, if you want to GEORREFERENCIAR a species that is not included in the application the program will allow you to create this new species. In future updates, advanced functions will be added to facilitate the groups of mycologists, the study of the different species of FUNGI.

Although it is ALWAYS essential to consult with an expert before consuming any species that we do not know, if you make trips to the forest to collect mushrooms for consumption, the FUNGIPEDIA application will allow you to discard many of them directly in the field, so that you do not collect unnecessary specimens , allowing them to continue fulfilling their essential functions in nature and avoiding intoxications. For this, you will find in the tab of the most common edible species a button of confusions that will show you which are the most dangerous species with which this edible species is usually confused.

Do not worry! You only need a connection during the initial installation and download of the image galleries that are performed after the application is installed. We also recommend testing GEOLOCATION the first time in an area with coverage and with the data activated, in order to save the maps of your location, however if there was coverage in the area of ​​the mountain where you are it is advisable to keep active the data since in this way it takes a few seconds to reference a setal instead of several minutes as it happens in areas without coverage, this happens because the GPS can download the exact location of the GPS satellites.
